The Syrian government announced an increase in the country's budget for the year 2026, reaching $10.5 billion. The Syrian President indicated that the recent recovery of many areas has contributed to restoring vital resources to the state, supporting the national economy in the fields of energy, food, and water. As part of the development plan, 40% of the current year's budget has been allocated to support and develop essential service sectors, including health and education. Despite the difficulties the country faces and the scale of the collapse in public services, which requires time to repair, the state confirmed it is moving rapidly towards construction and development, stressing the need to keep Syria away from any conflicts to focus on the path of recovery.
