Tartus Repairs Qusaibiya Road in Dreikish

Scope of Works

The Technical Services Directorate in Tartus governorate has completed maintenance works on the road passing through Qusaibiya village toward the villages of Shuwaihdat and Ain al-Jash in the Dreikish area. The works fall within the directorate's plan to improve traffic safety and facilitate movement between villages and residential communities in the region.

Implementation Method

The maintenance operations targeted damaged sections of the road, including laying and compacting asphalt using the directorate's equipment and field crews. The works relied on asphalt produced by the directorate's own mixing plant, reflecting the use of its available internal resources to carry out road maintenance.

The road connects several villages in Dreikish, and its repair helps ease daily commuting difficulties for residents between Qusaibiya, Shuwaihdat and Ain al-Jash, while also supporting the movement of transport and services between these communities.
