
The inaugural "Syrian-Emirati Investment Forum" commenced today, Monday, in Damascus, featuring a high-level Emirati economic delegation including businessmen and representatives of major corporations, led by Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Eagle Hills. The forum aims to explore available investment opportunities under new regulatory frameworks, with a primary focus on large-scale urban development projects in Damascus and Latakia. Talal al-Hilali, head of the Syrian Investment Authority, stated that the forum serves as a platform for signing MoUs that will facilitate foreign capital inflows and revitalize the tourism and renewable energy sectors, emphasizing the provision of full incentives for Emirati investors to participate in Syria's economic recovery phase.
