Um al-Bashaer Complex in Saraqib

The King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center signed a joint executive program with a Syrian civil society organization to build and equip the 'Um al-Bashaer' complex in the city of Saraqib, in the Idlib countryside, with the project expected to serve more than 100,000 residents in the area.

Program Signing

The center stated that Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs, signed the program, which includes the construction of a health care center along with attached community facilities.

Planned Health Services

The health center planned within the complex is set to provide a range of medical services, including:

• Daily medical examinations
• Kidney dialysis
• Reproductive health services
• Laboratory testing

Complex Service Components

The project also includes the construction of commercial shops, whose revenues will be allocated to support the sustainability of the complex's operations and the continuity of its health services, in addition to a social facility serving the area's residents and surrounding community.

Scale of King Salman Center's Work in Syria

According to data from the King Salman Center, the number of completed and ongoing projects in Syria has reached 533, with a total cost of approximately 589.06 million dollars, distributed across several sectors, most notably health, food and agricultural security, shelter, education, early recovery, and water and sanitation.
