Youssef Qablawi, Chief Executive of the Syrian Petroleum Company, met with a Czech delegation comprising representatives of companies specialised in the refining sector to explore cooperation prospects in oil and gas. Talks focused on developing Syria's refining industry and leveraging Czech expertise and technologies to modernise sector infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.

Technical and Investment Cooperation

Both sides examined opportunities for technical and investment collaboration, with particular attention to how Czech technologies could be applied to upgrade Syria's refining capabilities. According to a statement published by the company on its official Telegram channel, discussions also covered modern technical solutions for reducing carbon emissions and strengthening environmental protection standards at petroleum facilities.
