The Syrian Ministry of Economy and Industry, headed by Minister Nidal Al-Shaar, announced the formation of new joint Syrian business councils with several countries, including Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Kuwait, as part of efforts to enhance economic and trade cooperation with the world. This move follows the establishment of the "Syrian Council for the Coordination of Joint Business Councils" to provide a comprehensive institutional framework to organize, develop, and closely monitor the activities of these councils. Through this strategic step, the Syrian government seeks to facilitate investors' operations, propose joint projects that serve national economic priorities and support the reconstruction phase, alongside building a solid network of economic relations that contributes to driving sustainable development
