King Salman Center to Build Complex in Saraqib

The King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center signed, on Sunday, a joint executive program with a Syrian civil society organization to construct and equip the Um Al Bashaer complex in the city of Saraqib in Idlib countryside, aiming to serve more than 100,000 residents in the area.

Agreement Details

The program was signed by Ahmed bin Ali Al Baiz, Assistant Supervisor General of the Center for Operations and Programs. The program includes the establishment of a health care center along with attached community facilities.

Health Services Offered

As part of the project, the King Salman Center will provide a range of health services, including:

• Daily medical examinations
• Kidney dialysis
• Reproductive health services
• Laboratory tests

Shops and Community Facility

The project includes the construction of commercial shops whose revenues will be dedicated to supporting the sustainability of the complex's operation and the continuity of its health services. It also includes the establishment of a community facility serving residents of the area and the surrounding community.

Center's Activities in Syria

According to data from the King Salman Center, the number of its completed and ongoing projects in Syria has reached 533, with a total cost of approximately 589.06 million US dollars, spread across several sectors, most notably health, food and agricultural security, shelter, education, early recovery, water and environmental sanitation.
