Investment Contract Signed to Redevelop Al Kawakibi Park in Aleppo

An investment contract for the design, development, rehabilitation, execution, operation and investment of Al Kawakibi Park in Aleppo was signed in the presence of Aleppo Deputy Governor Fawaz Hilal and Hazem Lotfi, director of the Syrian Investment Authority's Aleppo branch.

Signing Parties

The contract was signed on behalf of Aleppo City Council by its head, engineer Talal Al Jabri, and on behalf of Abu Dan Holding Company by its chairman, Mohammad Walid Abu Dan.

Project Scale

The project covers an area of approximately 22,500 square meters, with a capital investment of no less than 2.5 million US dollars.

Scope of Works

The project includes several development components, notably:

  • Rehabilitation of infrastructure and green spaces
  • Development of children's play areas and sports and service facilities
  • Construction of restaurants, kiosks, seating areas and parking lots
  • Adoption of renewable energy systems

Implementation and Investment Period

The implementation phase of the project will span 18 months, followed by an investment period extending to 15 years.

Project Objectives

The project aims to develop the park and improve its services, expand green spaces, and provide integrated facilities for children and families that take into account the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities, contributing to improved quality of life and reduced congestion in the area.
