imarexpo 2026 Closes with $1.756B in Deals

The second edition of Syria's international rebuild exhibition, "Rebuild 2026," concluded on Wednesday evening in Damascus after four days, organized by Effect Plus for Exhibitions and Conferences, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment, the Syrian Investment Authority, the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and the joint Syrian business councils.

Overall Results

The exhibition's final tally showed 3,200 direct contracts signed with a combined value exceeding $1.756 billion, alongside 412 memoranda of understanding between local, Arab and international companies and institutions.

Key Contracts Signed

• Thera Real Estate Development signed supply contracts with infrastructure and construction materials suppliers for the "Sham View" residential project in Damascus.
• Al-Rawwaf Contracting Company (Saudi Arabia) signed a $300 million contract for roads and infrastructure.
• Al-Hassan Holding Group and Al-Jouf Cement signed cement supply contracts worth $72 million.
• Advanced Technical Systems Company signed a $15 million contract for a water purification and pumping stations project.

The Al-Hassan Holding Group contract with Al-Jouf Cement has already entered the implementation readiness stage, making it one of the first agreements to move directly into field execution.

Organizer's Assessment

The organizing company stated that these results reflect growing confidence among local, regional and international markets in investment opportunities in Syria, noting that the exhibition became a platform where opportunities turn into partnerships and partnerships into projects.

Scale of Participation

The exhibition opened last Sunday with the participation of 356 local, Arab and international companies from 27 countries, highlighting recent projects and plans related to Syria's rebuilding phase, with particular focus on the energy, industry, construction and infrastructure sectors.
