Idlib governorate announced continued work to remove rubble from various areas of the province, as part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate cities and towns, open roads, and improve services in affected areas.

Rubble Removal Results

The governor of Idlib stated that more than 1,300,000 cubic meters of rubble have been removed across various areas of the province, as part of continuous work aimed at clearing the effects of war and preparing conditions for the return of life and services to affected areas.

Second Phase of Work

The governorate began the second phase of rubble removal work today, targeting the removal of more than 750,000 additional cubic meters of rubble across various areas of the province, building on the previous phase.

Objectives of the Ongoing Work

  • Opening roads across various areas of the province
  • Rehabilitating affected cities and towns
  • Preparing conditions for the return of services to affected areas

Participating Entities

The governor of Idlib thanked the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management, along with all workers in Idlib governorate, for their efforts in carrying out the rubble removal work and serving residents of the province.
