Idlib Governor, Customs Authority Head Inspect Expansion Works at Bab al-Hawa Crossing

Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdulrahman, accompanied by the head of the General Authority for Border Crossings and Customs, Qutaiba Badawi, conducted an inspection tour of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey to review the progress of work at the site.

Expansion and Rehabilitation Works

The tour included an inspection of the expansion, rehabilitation and paving works currently underway at the crossing, during which the officials reviewed the implementation stages and the level of progress on site.

Meeting with Staff

The governor and the customs authority head met with the crossing's workers and staff, and were briefed on the operating procedures and the current state of services provided to users and travelers.

Significance of the Crossing

Bab al-Hawa is a main border crossing point between Syria and Turkey, which lends importance to the ongoing development and rehabilitation works aimed at facilitating crossing operations and related services.
