Aleppo Completes Rehabilitation and Paving of the Fafin–Marea Road

Works completed

The Technical Services Directorate in Aleppo has completed the rehabilitation and paving of the Fafin–Marea road. The works were funded from the independent budget of Aleppo Governorate, as part of the governorate's plan to secure vital roads and improve movement between its areas.

Scope of the works

• The stretch from Fafin, past the pedestrian school, to the juvenile prison junction.
• The scraping, resurfacing and paving of the Fafin–Umm Hawsh road, completed earlier.

With these works, the rehabilitation of the road linking Marea and Aleppo is complete. The announcement does not give the length of the road, the contract value or the contractor.
