
The emergency response committee in Deir ez-Zor governorate, through its technical and service teams, has begun work to reinforce and raise the level of the earthen bridge in Deir ez-Zor city, following a rise in the water level of the Euphrates River.
The works include installing metal culverts along the length of the earthen bridge, followed by soil backfilling to level the bridge surface.
The measure aims to enhance public safety and facilitate the flow of water in the area.
Deir ez-Zor governorate is overseeing the implementation of these works through its emergency response committee.
