Damascus Governorate Rehabilitates Souq al-Hal Area, Starting With Sewage Lines

Damascus Governorate announced a full rehabilitation project in the Souq al-Hal area, carried out by crews of its Maintenance Directorate in cooperation with the Supervision Directorate. The governorate presents the project as part of its plan to develop vital facilities.

Stages

• Field work began with the replacement and renewal of sewage lines, to secure the lasting soundness of the infrastructure.
• The next stage is laying a comprehensive asphalt layer, intended to ease the movement of transport and passage for citizens and commercial activity.
