Technical Services Directorate Starts Rehabilitation of the 9 km Babees Road in Jabal Semaan, Aleppo

The Technical Services Directorate, with the support of Aleppo Governorate, has begun rehabilitation works on the Babees road in the northern Jabal Semaan area, a road 9 kilometres long.

Route and scope of works

The road runs from Maarat al-Artiq through Yaqid al-Adas and Babees to the Hawr junction on the Aleppo–Darat Izza road. The works include scraping off damaged sections, levelling the road and paving it with asphalt.

The stated aim is to improve the road's condition and ease travel between the villages and towns along it.
