
The Al-Jawhara Boulevard project is a Saudi-Syrian initiative to create a tourist and commercial boulevard and an urban park in the Khan al-Asal area west of Aleppo. The project is planned as an open public space for the city of Aleppo, and includes:
A central promenade nearly 2 kilometers long, dedicated to walking and outdoor physical activity.
An open-air theater and amphitheater for events, along with a convention center.
Fountains and artificial water bodies intended to improve the local environment and microclimate.
The project aims to increase the afforestation rate in the area by 300%, creating open parks and shaded pathways.
A range of restaurant chains, cafes, and parking facilities for visitors.
