Description

MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is a wood-based panel produced by binding wood fibres with a synthetic resin that hardens under heat. Its smooth, homogeneous surface makes it an ideal base for lacquering or veneer overlay, and it machines cleanly for moulded panels, table tops, drawers and doors.

Sophia's Wood also supplies specialised MDF variants: fire-retardant, veneer-faced, coloured (Innovus), paper-overlay and flexible MDF for curved work.
