Description

Melamine-Faced Chipboard (MFC) has a chipboard core whose surface is covered with a thin melamine paper film. The film reproduces a broad range of wood textures, solid colours and granite patterns, giving a finished decorative surface that needs no further coating. A moisture-resistant (MR) core variant offers added resistance in humid conditions.

MFC is widely used in cabinet work, office furniture, wall coverings and general furniture manufacturing. Sophia's Wood supplies MFC from international brands including INNOVUS, VARIO and LOSAN.
