
Idlib governorate signed an agreement with the Turkish company iSRA to expand Bab al-Hawa Industrial City, a step aimed at developing industrial infrastructure in the border area. The signing was attended by Syria's Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, Bassel Abdulhanan, and Turkey's Minister of Trade, Omer Bolat.
The agreement covers the expansion of Bab al-Hawa Industrial City, an industrial zone located near the Syrian-Turkish border crossing, considered one of the main hubs of commercial and economic activity in Idlib governorate.
The signing ceremony was attended by officials from both the Syrian and Turkish sides, with Syria represented by Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Bassel Abdulhanan, and Turkey represented by Minister of Trade Omer Bolat.
According to a statement by Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdulrahman, the step represents a boost to economic and investment activity in Bab al-Hawa, strengthens its position as a commercial and economic gateway, and opens new prospects for investment and job creation in the area.
The governor stated that Idlib governorate will continue supporting investment and development efforts across the province.
