Tender Overview

The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus Governorate has announced a sealed-envelope tender for the replacement of a water supply line in the Al-Martisah quarter of Dreikish city. The project is to be executed in accordance with the technical specifications set out in the tender dossier.

Estimated Value and Financial Guarantees

The estimated project value is 927,426 new Syrian pounds. The applicable financial conditions are as follows:

• Provisional guarantee: 5% of the estimated value
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value
• Delay penalty: 0.001 per day of delay
• Warranty period: one year

Execution Period and Binding Duration

The project execution period is set at 15 calendar days. The bidder's offer remains binding for six months, and the same duration applies to the nominated contractor.

Eligibility and Participation Requirements

Bidders must hold a classification of Category Four, Five, or Six. Offers must be accompanied by all supporting documents stipulated under Law No. 51 of 2004, along with proof of purchase of the tender dossier. A certificate issued by the Arab Advertising Corporation confirming the contractor's subscription to the official announcements bulletin must also be enclosed, failing which the offer will be rejected.

Provisional guarantees are to be submitted via the company's current bank account, or by means of a bank guarantee, bank transfer, or certified cheque from a resident bank accredited by public authorities in the Syrian Arab Republic. The contractor bears all taxes, expenses, stamp duties on both copies of the contract, and advertising fees.

Dossier Purchase and Further Information

Interested parties may visit the company's registry during official working hours to review the conditions and purchase the technical dossier for a fee of 500 new Syrian pounds. Company announcements are also available on the official website: www.tawsse.com.sy

Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes, accompanied by all supporting documents required under Law No. 51 of 2004, proof of purchase of the tender dossier, and a certificate of subscription to the official announcements bulletin issued by the Arab Advertising Corporation. Submissions are to be delivered to the premises of the General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus no later than the end of official working hours on Sunday, 19 July 2026. The tender opening session will take place at the company's headquarters at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, 20 July 2026.
