The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has issued a tender for the supply and installation of solar power systems at seven facilities located across the city of Aleppo, as part of its ongoing support to Syria's electricity and renewable energy sector.

Scope of the Tender

The tender covers the supply and installation of solar power systems at multiple sites within Aleppo, and is classified under the Request for Quotation (RFQ) procurement process, a method UNDP uses for tenders of a defined scale.

Submission Process

This tender is managed through UNDP's new supplier portal system, UNDP Quantum. Interested suppliers who do not already have a registered profile must subscribe via the Supplier Registration link, following the instructions in the available user guide. Suppliers with an existing profile are instructed not to create a new one, and to use the forgotten password feature if needed.

Suppliers who already hold a profile can log in directly to the Supplier Portal and search for the negotiation using the tender's reference number, following the steps outlined in the user guide.

Amendment Notifications

Interested suppliers are advised to subscribe to the tender within the system in order to receive notifications of any amendments made to the tender documentation, ensuring they remain informed of any changes to the bidding conditions.

Deadline

The final deadline for submitting offers has been set for 26 September 2026, with all bids required to be submitted electronically through the designated online system.

Offers must be submitted exclusively through UNDP's supplier portal (UNDP Quantum). New suppliers must register via the Supplier Registration link, while existing account holders should log in and search for the tender using reference number UNDP-SYR-00679.
