The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched an expression of interest addressed to potential suppliers and contractors, aiming to prequalify them for future projects related to infrastructure rehabilitation across Syria. The call forms part of the pre-tender procedures UNDP uses to better understand the capacity, experience and availability of contractors operating in the Syrian market before launching actual solicitation processes.

Scope of the Call

The prequalification process targets suppliers wishing to participate in infrastructure and rehabilitation projects across various Syrian regions. The call covers a wide geographic scope including the governorates of Aleppo, Damascus, Tartus, Rif Dimashq, Deir ez-Zor, Daraa, As-Sweida, Idlib, Quneitra, Latakia, Raqqa, Homs, Hasakah and Hama.

Submission Mechanism

The process is managed through UNDP's new supplier portal system, Quantum. Interested parties must follow these steps:

• Register on the Quantum supplier portal if they do not already have a profile, following the available user guide.
• Log in to the supplier portal and search for the negotiation using reference number UNDP-SYR-00674, if already registered.
• Indicate their intention to submit by creating a draft response without submitting it directly, to enable notifications of any amendments to the tender requirements.
• Use the messaging function within the system for any clarifications.
• Submit offers directly through the official supplier portal link using their registered profile.

UNDP advises suppliers who have previously registered not to create a new profile, and instead to use the forgotten password feature if needed.
