Scope of Work

The General Company for Electricity of Daraa Governorate has announced tender No. 16 (urgent category) for the replacement of underground cables serving the Market, Airport, and Zubaida feeders, along with emergency outlet cables. The works cover cables originating from the Daraa Main Substation, running from the State Security Administration junction to Al-Dalla roundabout in the city of Daraa.

Estimated Value and Securities

The estimated contract value is SYP 4,597,250. Bidders are required to submit a provisional security deposit of SYP 229,863, payable before 12:30 PM by certified bank cheque in favour of the Company, or by a bank guarantee in the officially approved wording. The final performance security is set at 10% of the estimated contract value.

Execution Period and Warranty

The project execution period is set at 60 days from the date of the commencement order. Bidders remain bound by their offers for 90 days from the day following the submission deadline. The project warranty period is one full year, commencing from the date of provisional handover.

Eligibility and Classification Requirements

Applicants must hold a fourth, third, or second-grade classification with the Syrian Contractors Syndicate. Tender documents may be obtained from the Company's Contracts Department for a non-refundable fee of SYP 3,000, payable prior to registration.

Submission Deadline and Envelope Opening

Offers must be submitted to the Company's registry no later than the end of official working hours on Sunday, 26 July 2026. Envelopes will be opened at the Company's premises at 10:00 AM on Monday, 27 July 2026.
