Tender Scope

The Electricity Directorate of Deir ez-Zor Governorate (General Electricity Company) has announced internal tender No. 15 of 2026 for the rehabilitation of two centres in Deir ez-Zor city: the Al-Busaraya centre and the Al-Tarbiya centre. The notice carries reference number 163049.

The tender is held by sealed envelope under the (merge and deduct) method, in line with Law No. 51 of 2004. Works are to be carried out according to the technical specifications book and the legal and financial specifications book attached to the notice.

Value and Bonds

• Estimated value: SYP 1,493,250 (new Syrian pounds).
• Initial bond: SYP 74,663 (new Syrian pounds).
• Final bond: 10% of the total contract value, payable within three days of award.

Execution Terms

The Directorate set the execution period at 45 calendar days, starting from the date the work site is handed over to the contractor.

The delay penalty is one per thousand (0.001) of the total contract value for each day of delay, capped at 20% of the total value.

Validity Periods and Dates

A bidder remains bound by its offer for three months from the day after the bid submission period ends. The nominated contractor remains bound for three months from the day after being notified of the award.

Bids are accepted until 3:00 pm on Monday, 2 November 2026, and are opened on Tuesday, 3 November 2026 at 12:00 noon at the company building.
