Tender Subject

Al-Furat University in Deir ez-Zor has issued an internal request for proposals for the rehabilitation of the Solar Energy System across its faculties. The works are indivisible and must be executed as a single contract package, in accordance with the technical specifications prepared for this purpose.

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

The university has set the following financial terms for this tender:

• Initial guarantee: SYP 75,000 (new)
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the contract value per day of delay
• Tender dossier fee: SYP 1,000 (new), payable at the Finance Directorate
• Legal stamp: SYP 1,000 (new), affixed to the subscription application

Execution Period and Bid Validity

The execution period is set at 40 days from the date of contract award. Bidders are bound by their submitted offers for a period of 90 days from the date of envelope opening.

This tender is governed by Law No. 51 of 2004 and its amendments, the General Conditions Booklet issued under Decree No. 450 of 2004, and the project-specific technical, legal, and financial conditions booklet.

Issuing Authority

Al-Furat University is a Syrian public university established in 2006 under Law No. 33. It comprises twenty-five faculties distributed across the governorates of Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah, and Raqqa, and operates under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Interested bidders must visit the Contracts Department at Al-Furat University Presidency to obtain the tender dossier upon payment of SYP 1,000 (new) at the Finance Directorate. Offers must be submitted to the University Presidency Office no later than 15:00 on Monday, 6 July 2026, accompanied by supporting documents, the initial guarantee, and both the technical and financial proposals. Any offer not accompanied by proof of dossier fee payment will be rejected.
