Tender Subject

Al-Shaykh Badr City Council in Tartus Governorate invites bids for two separate infrastructure projects within the city limits, in accordance with Law No. 51 of 2004. Each project is tendered independently.

Project Details

• Project One: Maintenance of regulatory roads and access routes within Al-Shaykh Badr city. Estimated value: SYP 1,725,360 (new). Execution period: 30 days. Technical file price: SYP 300,000.
• Project Two: Replacement of sewage connections within Al-Shaykh Badr city. Estimated value: SYP 1,843,750 (new). Execution period: 60 days. Technical file price: SYP 300,000.

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

• Provisional guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Guarantees must be submitted as a certified cheque or bank guarantee.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the total contract value per day of delay.
• Bid validity period: 90 days.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must be subscribers to the official announcements bulletin and must hold the required classification under applicable regulations. The winning bidder bears the cost of publishing the tender announcement. Any offer not accompanied by proof of technical file purchase will be rejected.

File Inspection

The technical file for each project may be reviewed at the Technical Office of the City Council during official working hours.

Offers must be submitted in person to the secretariat of Al-Shaykh Badr City Council, accompanied by all required supporting documents, no later than the end of official working hours on Sunday, 7 June 2026. Offers not including proof of technical file purchase will be rejected. Envelopes for Project One will be opened at 10:00 a.m. and for Project Two at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, 8 June 2026.
