Tender Subject and Reference

The electricity administration of Deir ez-Zor Governorate has announced Internal Tender No. 5 of 2026, issued for the second time under the provisions of Law No. 51 of 2004. The tender covers the rehabilitation of a service and emergency centre in the Muhasan area of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, and is offered through a sealed-envelope (lump-sum) method.

Estimated Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: 1,424,350 new Syrian pounds.
• Initial guarantee: 71,218 new Syrian pounds.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the total contract value, payable within three days of contract award.

Execution Conditions

• Execution period: 60 calendar days commencing from the date of site handover.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 (one per thousand) of the total contract value per day of delay, capped at 20% of the total contract value.
• Bidder binding period: three months from the day following the submission deadline.
• Awarded contractor binding period: three months from the day following notification of award.

Participation Procedures

Interested parties must visit the Contracts Department of the General Electricity Company of Deir ez-Zor during official working hours, paying a tender document fee of 3,000 Syrian pounds. Participants must also pay a tender participation stamp duty of 1,000 Syrian pounds at the Deir ez-Zor finance office.

Submission and Opening Dates

Offers must be submitted to the company's headquarters no later than 14:00 on Sunday, 30 August 2026. Envelopes will be opened at the company's premises on Monday, 31 August 2026 at 12:00 noon.
