The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Suwayda has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for the execution of polyethylene water line works of various diameters at the Shahba Economic Unit, in line with the special conditions prepared for the purpose.

Scope of Works

The tender covers water lines made of polyethylene in different diameters within the Shahba Economic Unit in Suwayda Governorate. The notice was published on 2 November 2026.

Value and Bonds

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 15,096,646.
• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Execution period: fifty calendar days.

Deadlines and Validity Periods

Offers are accepted until the end of official working hours on Wednesday, 2 December 2026. Bids will be opened in a public session on Thursday, 3 December 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the presence of bidders.

• Bid validity: sixty days from the day after the submission period ends at the company's registry office.
• Commitment of the nominated contractor: ninety days from the day after being notified of the award.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must be classified under the contractor classification system issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in the specialty of water and sewage networks and dams, at grade five or six.

Any bid exceeding SYP 1,000,000 is rejected unless accompanied by proof of subscription to the official announcements bulletin. The special tender documents are obtained from the company's contracting department for SYP 1,000.
