Tender Subject and Scope

The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus Governorate invites eligible companies and contractors to submit sealed offers for the supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment at Nab' Saleh Project, Third Station, along the Al-Toun Al-Marqab axis. This tender forms part of the company's ongoing efforts to develop the drinking water network and improve pumping station efficiency across the governorate.

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

The financial terms of the tender are set as follows:

• Preliminary guarantee: SYP 35,000 (thirty-five thousand new Syrian pounds).
• Final guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value.
• Delay penalty: 0.001 of the contract value per day of delay.
• Tender document fee: SYP 500 (five hundred new Syrian pounds).

Execution, Warranty, and Binding Periods

• Execution period: 75 days only.
• Warranty period: One full calendar year from the date of provisional acceptance and completion of acceptance tests.
• Bidder binding period: Six months.
• Nominated contractor binding period: Six months.

Eligibility and Classification Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid classification in mechanical or electrical works under Category Five or Six. Offers must be accompanied by a subscription certificate to the Official Gazette, proof of tender document purchase, and all supporting documents required under Law No. 51 of 2004. Failure to include any required document will result in automatic disqualification.

The contractor shall bear all applicable taxes, fees, and publication costs associated with the contract.

Preliminary Guarantee Submission

Preliminary guarantees must be submitted to the company's current bank account, or by means of a bank guarantee, bank transfer, or certified cheque issued by a resident bank accredited by the competent public authorities in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Offers must be submitted in person to the headquarters of the General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus Governorate during official working hours, no later than the end of business on Sunday, 19 July 2026. All offers must include the supporting documents required under Law No. 51 of 2004, along with proof of tender document purchase and a valid subscription to the Official Gazette.
