Tender Overview

Al-Furat University in Deir ez-Zor has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for the maintenance and rehabilitation of its Engineering Institutes Complex. The tender is governed by Law No. 51 of 2004 and its amendments, the General Conditions Booklet issued under Decree No. 450 of 2004, and the project-specific technical, legal, and financial conditions booklets.

Project Details

The estimated value of the project is SYP 557,080, with an execution period of 50 days from the date of award. The required initial guarantee amounts to SYP 28,000, while the final guarantee is set at 10% of the awarded contract value. A delay penalty of 0.1% per day of delay applies.

Eligibility Requirements

• Contractors must hold a valid classification with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing under Decision No. 2828 of 2021, Sixth Category (Buildings), duly certified.
• Bidders are bound by their offers for 90 days from the date of bid opening.
• A legal stamp valued at SYP 500 must be affixed to the participation request and paid at the Finance Directorate.

Obtaining Tender Documents

Interested parties must visit the Contracts Department at Al-Furat University to review and obtain the conditions booklets, upon payment of SYP 500 at the Finance Directorate. Any offer not accompanied by proof of file fee payment will be rejected.

Submission Deadline

The final deadline for submission is Sunday, 19 July 2026, at 15:00. Offers must be submitted to the University Presidency Office, accompanied by supporting documents, the initial guarantee, and the financial proposal.

Offers must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Presidency Office of Al-Furat University in Deir ez-Zor, accompanied by supporting documents, the initial guarantee (SYP 28,000), and the financial proposal, no later than 15:00 on Sunday, 19 July 2026. Proof of file fee payment (SYP 500) and the legal stamp fee (SYP 500), both paid at the Finance Directorate, must be enclosed. Tender documents are available from the Contracts Department at the university upon payment of the file fee.
