The General Electricity Company of Daraa Governorate has announced Tender No. 158971 (urgent procedure) for the replacement of underground cables serving multiple electrical cells originating from the Daraa Main Power Substation. The works cover the route from the State Security Administration point to Al-Dalla Roundabout in the city of Daraa.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the replacement of underground cables for the Al-Souq, Al-Matar (Airport), and Zubaida cells, as well as a backup outlet cable, all connected to the main substation network in Daraa city.

Estimated Value and Bonds

• Estimated contract value: SYP 4,976,600.
• Provisional bond: SYP 248,830, payable before 12:30 p.m. by certified bank cheque or official bank guarantee.
• Final bond: 10% of the estimated contract value.
• Tender document fee: SYP 3,000, payable prior to registration.

Execution and Warranty Periods

• Execution period: 40 days from the date of the commencement order.
• Warranty period: one full year from the date of provisional handover.
• Bid validity: 90 days from the day following the submission deadline.

Bidders must hold a classification of fourth, third, or second grade with the Contractors Syndicate. Tender documents are available from the Contracts Department at the company's premises.
