The Latakia Governorate Electricity Administration, operating under the General Electricity Company, has announced an urgent tender numbered 51/2026. The scope covers comprehensive maintenance works on medium-voltage networks, both overhead (aerial) and underground, within the Qardaha electricity section for the year 2026.

Estimated Value and Guarantees

The estimated value of the works is set at 1,500,000 Syrian pounds. The initial guarantee (bid bond) required is 75,000 Syrian pounds, while the final performance guarantee is fixed at 10% of the awarded contract value. Tender documents are available for purchase at 3,000 Syrian pounds from the Financial Directorate, Contracts Department.

Execution Period and Warranty

The execution period extends until the end of 2026 or until the full contract value is consumed, whichever comes first. A warranty period of one full calendar year applies from the date of handover.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must hold a fourth or fifth grade classification in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Public Works, commensurate with the nature of this tender. All required supporting documents must be submitted along with the bidder's elected domicile; failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

Offers must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 12 August 2026. Envelopes will be opened at the company's premises at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 13 August 2026. Interested parties should visit the Financial Directorate, Contracts Department, to obtain the tender documents.
