Tender Subject

The General Authority of Damascus Hospital announces a tender for the maintenance, repair, and daily operation of all ten elevators located within the hospital premises. This is the first issuance of this tender, and it is governed by the terms and specifications set out in the official tender documents.

Financial Conditions and Guarantees

• Initial Guarantee: A lump sum of 77,500 new Syrian Pounds (SYP).
• Final Guarantee: 10% of the awarded contract value.
• Delay Penalty: 0.1% of the total contract value per day of delay, not to exceed 20% of the total contract value.

Contract Duration and Binding Period

The contract duration is one full calendar year, commencing the day after the handover of the work site. Bidders are bound by their offers for three months from the date of submission. Shortlisted bidders are subject to the provisions of Law No. 51 of 2004.

Obtaining Tender Documents

Tender documents may be obtained from the Contracts Division at Damascus Hospital for a fee of 1,000 new Syrian Pounds.

The General Authority of Damascus Hospital, also known as Al-Mujtahid Hospital, is an independent public authority under the Ministry of Health and one of the largest government hospitals in Syria. Located in the Al-Mujtahid district in southern Damascus, it provides multi-specialty medical, surgical, and educational services.

Offers must be submitted in two sealed envelopes (the first containing supporting documents, the second containing the financial offer), both placed inside a third sealed outer envelope, and delivered to the Hospital Registry (Diwan) no later than the end of official working hours on Thursday, 16 July 2026.
