The Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction (SEBCO), Tartus Branch, has announced a sealed-envelope tender for the execution of architectural, sanitary, expansion joint, and insulation works as part of the rehabilitation project for the Al-Arida border crossing bridge in Tartus Governorate.

Scope of Works

The tender covers architectural and sanitary works, together with expansion joint installation and insulation works forming part of the bridge rehabilitation project, all to be carried out in accordance with the technical specifications set out in the special conditions booklet.

Estimated Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: 22,000,000 New Syrian Pounds (SYP)
• Provisional guarantee: 1,100,000 New Syrian Pounds (SYP)
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value
• Special conditions booklet fee: 3,000 New Syrian Pounds (SYP)

Binding and Execution Periods

• Bidder binding period: 90 days
• Execution period: 45 calendar days

About the Issuing Authority

SEBCO is a public institution operating under the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. Established in October 2025 through the merger of five state construction companies, it serves as a principal body for infrastructure and housing projects across Syria.

Bids must be submitted in person to the SEBCO Tartus Branch office, located in the Sixth Project area adjacent to the Civil Affairs directorate, no later than the close of business on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Envelopes will be opened at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 2 July 2026.
