The Electricity Transmission Directorate of the Syrian Electricity Company has announced domestic tender No. 54/2026. According to the published notice, this is the second time the tender has been issued.

Tender Subject

The tender covers the supply of 500 units of double tension insulator string fittings used on 230 kV high voltage lines, intended for the aluminium/steel 400/51 mm2 conductor.

The delivery period is 3 months, partial deliveries are permitted, and the delivery location is the Transmission Directorate warehouses.

Bidders must submit offers in foreign currency, with payment made in Syrian pounds according to the official market bulletin of the Central Bank of Syria on the due date, which is the day after the provisional handover record is issued.

The notice also requires that the contractor has imported the supplies and the materials needed to execute the contract from abroad, and that these have entered local consumption, as evidenced by official documents.
