The Syrian Establishment for Building and Construction (Tartus branch) has announced a sealed-envelope tender, under the "total speed" procedure as described in the notice, for the supply of spiral reinforcing steel in various diameters. The tender covers the needs of the establishment's projects and its production centre.

Quantities Required

The total quantity is 190 tonnes of high-strength spiral reinforcing steel, grade A3, split across eight diameters:

• 6 mm diameter: 3 tonnes
• 8 mm diameter: 25 tonnes
• 10 mm diameter: 15 tonnes
• 12 mm diameter: 24 tonnes
• 14 mm diameter: 18 tonnes
• 16 mm diameter: 10 tonnes
• 18 mm diameter: 5 tonnes
• 20 mm diameter: 90 tonnes

The 20 mm diameter accounts for the largest share of the total, at 90 tonnes.

Financial Terms

• Provisional bond: SYP 81,000,000 (eighty-one million new Syrian pounds)
• Final bond: 10%
• Bid validity period: 60 days
• Price of the special conditions booklet: SYP 2,500

Delivery Period and Dates

The notice sets the supply period at 15 calendar days. Bids are accepted until the end of working hours on Tuesday, 20/10/2026, and the bids will be opened at 10:00 on 21/10/2026.
