Tartus City Council has announced, for the second time, a tender for asphalt paving of scattered streets in the city. The works cover streets in the Al-Hamarat, Al-Baraniyeh and Al-Raml-2 districts.

Scope of Works

The tender concerns asphalt surfacing of scattered streets across the three named districts. Works are to be carried out under the technical, financial and legal specification books prepared for the project, the provisions of Contracts Law No. 51 of 2004, and the General Conditions Book.

Financial Terms

• Estimated bill of quantities: SYP 7,129,800.
• Provisional guarantee: 5% of the estimated value, payable by transfer, bank guarantee or certified cheque.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value, payable by the same means.
• Late-delivery penalty: one per thousand for each day of delay.
• Tender file price: SYP 5,000.

Duration and Bid Validity

The issuing authority set the execution period at thirty calendar days. The nominated contractor remains bound by its offer for 60 days from the day after being notified that the bid has been awarded to it.

Offers are accepted until the end of official working hours on Sunday, 1 November 2026. Offers are opened on Monday, 2 November 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
