The Syrian Telecom Company has re-issued, for the second time, an internal request for offers covering the supply and installation of batteries for uninterruptible power supply units. The request is numbered 1634 /6/3/1 and dated 6 October 2026, and works follow the technical, financial and legal specifications booklet for the project.

Scope of the Request

The request covers supplying and installing the batteries required for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units. These batteries provide the backup power the units rely on when the main electricity supply is unavailable.

Execution and Validity Periods

• Execution period: 9 months from the date of notification of the commencement order.
• Offer validity: 120 days from the date of submission.
• Nominated contractor commitment: 180 days from the second day after notification of the award.

Financial Terms

• Provisional deposit: SYP 268,800.
• Final deposit: 10% of the total contract value.
• Daily delay penalty: one per thousand of the total contract value.
• Price of the specifications booklet: SYP 8,960.

Evaluation Criteria

The technical pass mark is set at 85%, and the technical evaluation criteria are attached to the special specifications booklet. The notice does not state an estimated contract value.
