Syria's Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management has issued, for the second time, an expedited tender to rehabilitate and restore several centers belonging to the Aleppo directorate, in accordance with the technical, legal and financial specifications of the tender.
The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management announced an expedited tender to rehabilitate and restore centers in the Aleppo directorate valued at 74.3 million Syrian pounds. The works are divided into three sectors:
The total temporary guarantee for the entire tender amounts to 3,715,500 Syrian pounds, while the final guarantee is set at 10 percent of the contract value.
The ministry set the bidder's commitment period at sixty calendar days from the day following the close of bid submission, while the selected contractor's commitment period extends to ninety calendar days from the date of notification of contract award. The execution period for the works is set at sixty calendar days, beginning from the date of the work order and handover of the site, whichever is later. Payments are to be made in new Syrian pounds.
The ministry clarified that it retains the right to divide the contract subject by sector and award each sector independently, and also reserves the right to cancel or reissue the tender without providing reasons or granting bidders any right to compensation. Non-compliant bids are automatically rejected.
The tender file can be purchased from the announcement date until the end of business hours on September 13, 2026, with bid opening scheduled for the following day, September 14, 2026.
How to Apply
Interested bidders must visit the Aleppo Directorate at Shihan Roundabout, northeastern corner, Diwan office, to obtain the tender file for a non-refundable fee of 5,000 new Syrian pounds.
Applications must be submitted in writing, sealed and duly signed, from the announcement date until the end of business hours on September 13, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., excluding Fridays and Saturdays.
Bidders must submit all required guarantees, otherwise the bid will be rejected. Joint bids require a solidarity commitment among partners. All bids must be denominated in new Syrian pounds.
