The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Sweida has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for the execution of polyethylene water pipelines of various diameters at the Salkhad Economic Unit, in line with the special conditions prepared for the purpose. The tender number is 165205.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the installation of polyethylene water pipelines of different diameters within the Salkhad Economic Unit in Sweida governorate. The execution period is fifty calendar days.

Financial Terms

• Estimated value of the bill of quantities: SYP 6,235,082.
• Initial bond: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Price of the special conditions booklet: SYP 1,000.

Any offer exceeding SYP 1,000,000 is rejected unless it is accompanied by a subscription certificate to the official announcements bulletin.

Dates and Validity Periods

Offers are accepted until the end of official working hours on Sunday, 6 December 2026. Offers will be opened in a public session in the presence of bidders on Monday, 7 December 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

A bidder remains bound by its offer for sixty days from the day after the submission period ends at the company's registry. The nominated contractor remains bound for ninety days from the day after being notified of the award.

Classification Requirement

Bidders must be classified under the contractor classification system issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in the specialty of water networks, sanitation and dams, at grade five or six.
