The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Suwayda has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for replacing polyethylene water lines of various diameters at the Al-Qarya economic unit, in line with the special conditions prepared for the purpose.

Scope of Works

The tender covers the replacement of polyethylene water lines in several diameters within the Al-Qarya economic unit, which belongs to the company. It is run as an internal tender using sealed envelopes.

Value and Duration

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 8,753,123.
• Initial deposit: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.
• Execution period: fifty calendar days.

Key Dates

Offers are accepted until the end of official working hours on Tuesday, 1 December 2026. Offers will be opened in a public session on Wednesday, 2 December 2026 at 10:00 a.m., in the presence of bidders.

Bidders remain bound by their offers for sixty days from the day after the submission period ends at the company's registry. The nominated contractor remains bound for ninety days from the day after being notified of the award.

Eligibility Conditions

• Bidders must be classified under the contractor classification system issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in the specialty of water and sewage networks and dams, at grade five or six.
• Any offer exceeding SYP 1,000,000 is rejected unless accompanied by proof of subscription to the official announcements bulletin.
• Interested parties obtain the special conditions booklet from the company's contracting department for SYP 1,000.
