The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Suwayda has announced an internal sealed-envelope tender for replacing polyethylene water lines of various diameters in Shahba Economic Unit, in line with the special conditions prepared for the purpose. The tender number is 165201.

Scope of Works

The contract covers the replacement of polyethylene water lines of varying diameters within the Shahba Economic Unit. The works are governed by the special conditions that the company makes available to interested bidders.

Value, Duration and Guarantees

• Estimated bill of quantities value: SYP 12,885,243.
• Execution period: one hundred calendar days.
• Initial guarantee: 5% of the estimated value.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the award value.

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must be classified under the contractor classification system issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in the specialisation of water and sanitation networks and dams, at grade five or six.

Any bid exceeding SYP 1,000,000 is rejected unless it is accompanied by a subscription certificate to the official announcements bulletin.

Dates and Bid Validity

Bids are accepted until the end of official working hours on Monday, 30 November 2026. Bids will be opened in a public session in the presence of bidders on Tuesday, 1 December 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

A bidder remains bound by its offer for sixty days from the day after the submission period ends at the company's registry. The shortlisted contractor remains bound for ninety days from the day after being notified of the award.
