The Electricity Transmission Directorate in Damascus has announced internal tender no. 54/2026, issued for the second time. It covers the supply of double tension insulator string fittings used on high-voltage lines.

Tender Subject

The supply comprises 500 double tension insulator string fittings for 230 kV high-voltage lines with an aluminium/steel conductor of 400/51 mm2.

The tender is governed by the conditions set out in the tender file, which is published on the website of the Syrian Electricity Company (SEC.SY) and on its official accounts.

Value and Guarantees

• Estimated value: USD 50,000.
• Provisional guarantee: 282,500 new Syrian pounds.
• Final guarantee: 10% of the contract value.
• Tender file price: 5,000 new Syrian pounds.
• Bid validity: 90 calendar days.

Delivery Terms

The delivery period is 3 months, and partial delivery is permitted. Delivery is to the warehouses of the Transmission Directorate.

Bid and Payment Conditions

Bidders must submit their offers in foreign currency. Payment is made in Syrian pounds at the official market rate published by the Central Bank of Syria on the due date, which is the day after the provisional handover report is issued.

The contractor must have imported the supplies and the materials needed to execute the contract from abroad, with the goods cleared for local consumption, and must prove this through official documents.
