The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus Governorate has announced a call for bids for the supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment at the second pumping station of the Marqiyya Al-Qadim water project, along the Muati axis. This tender forms part of the company's ongoing efforts to develop and upgrade the drinking water infrastructure across the governorate.
The company has set the following financial conditions for participation:
Bidders must hold a valid classification in mechanical or electrical engineering under one of the following categories: fourth, fifth, or sixth. Submission of a valid subscription certificate to the Official Announcements Bulletin is mandatory, as is attaching proof of purchase of the tender dossier. Failure to include these documents will result in automatic disqualification of the bid.
All bids must be accompanied by the supporting documents stipulated under Law No. 51 of 2004. Preliminary guarantees must be deposited into the company's current bank account, or submitted in the form of a bank guarantee, bank transfer, or certified cheque issued by a resident bank accredited by the competent public authorities in the Syrian Arab Republic. The contractor bears full responsibility for all applicable taxes, fees, and announcement expenses.
Interested parties may visit the company's administrative office during official working hours to review the tender conditions and purchase the technical dossier for SYP 500. The company's announcements are also accessible through its official website.
How to Apply
Bids must be submitted in person to the administrative office of the General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartus during official working hours, no later than the end of the official working day on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. Each bid must include a full breakdown of specifications and prices, accompanied by proof of purchase of the tender dossier, a valid subscription certificate to the Official Announcements Bulletin, and all supporting documents required under Law No. 51 of 2004. Preliminary guarantees must be deposited into the company's current bank account or submitted as a bank guarantee, bank transfer, or certified cheque from an accredited bank.
