The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Tartous Governorate is inviting bids for the second time for the supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment required for the Third Station of the Marqiyah New Water Project on the Qamsu Axis. Financial Conditions and Guarantees

The initial guarantee is set at 65,000 new Syrian pounds, while the final guarantee amounts to 10% of the awarded contract value. A delay penalty of 0.001 applies for each day of delay. The contractor bears all applicable taxes, fees, and the cost of publishing the announcement on two occasions.

Execution and Warranty Periods

  • Execution period: 75 days
  • Bidder's binding period: six months
  • Nominated contractor's binding period: six months
  • Warranty period: one full calendar year from the date of provisional acceptance and the conclusion of provisional acceptance tests

Eligibility Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid classification in the mechanical or electrical specialty at Category Four or Five. A subscription certificate to the Official Announcements Bulletin must be attached to the bid, failing which the bid will be rejected. All offers must detail technical specifications and pricing.

Obtaining the Technical Dossier

Interested parties may visit the Directorate of Legal Affairs and Contracts at the company's premises during official working hours to review the terms and purchase the technical dossier for a fee of 500 new Syrian pounds. Company announcements are also available on the official website.

How to Apply

Bids must be submitted with all supporting documents as stipulated in Law No. 51 of 2004, no later than the end of official working hours on Sunday, 29 August 2026. The bid must include the receipt for the purchase of the conditions booklet and a subscription certificate to the Official Announcements Bulletin; failure to include either document will result in rejection of the bid. Provisional guarantees must be deposited into the company's current bank account, or provided in the form of a bank guarantee, bank transfer, or certified cheque issued by a resident bank accredited by the competent public authorities in the Syrian Arab Republic.
