Hayan Petroleum Company is a joint-venture operating company established in 1998, owned equally by the Syrian General Petroleum Corporation and Croatian INA (INA Industrija Nafte). The company carries out oil and gas development and production operations across several fields within the Hayan contract block, including Jihar, Palmyra, Al Mahr, Jazal, Al Mustadira, and Mazrur, situated in the Palmyride Basin of central Syria.
HPC's operational fields are concentrated in the Palmyra area of eastern Homs governorate, spanning the Hayan Block which encompasses oil, gas, and condensate fields. The company's registered head office is located in Damascus, at the Al Furat Petroleum Company building in the Dummar district.
