The Engineers Retirement Fund has announced a fast-track request for price offers to carry out the structural works of Qurtuba University, a property of the Fund located in the Al-Mudayuniyah area of Aleppo. The works are to be carried out under the terms and conditions set out in the works file.

Tender Subject

The tender covers the structural works for the university building. The notice carries reference number 6413 and was published on 25 October 2026.

Eligibility and Guarantees

• Bidder classification: at least Second Grade (buildings specialization).
• Provisional guarantee: SYP 3,000,000 (three million new Syrian pounds).
• Final guarantee: 5% of the award value.
• Bidder's offer validity: 30 days following the last date for submitting offers.
• Nominated contractor's offer validity: 15 days following notification of the award.

Duration and Obligations

The execution period is set at 365 calendar days from the date of commencement and handover of the work site. The delay penalty is two per thousand of the total contract value for each day of delay.

The contractor bears all taxes and fees, including stamp duty on its copy of the contract, the engineering stamp, advertising fees and any other contract-related expenses.

The issuing authority is the Engineers Retirement Fund, whose office is in the Dar al-Mohandes building in Damascus. The notice does not state an estimated value for the works.
