Scope of Works

The Rif Dimashq Health Directorate has issued a second-round call for bids, using the sealed-envelope method, for price offers covering the supply and installation of equipment for the Qalamoun hospitals.

• One steam generation boiler for the laundry department.
• One water desalination unit.

Bonds and Penalties

The notice sets out the following financial terms:

• Provisional bond: 200,000 new Syrian pounds.
• Final bond: 10% of the award value.
• Late-delivery penalty: one per thousand for each day of delay.

The notice does not state an estimated contract value.

Time Frames

The directorate set the execution period at three months. Bidders remain bound by their offers for six months from the date the bids are opened, under the provisions of the contracting regulations in force.

The technical, financial and legal specifications book sets out the detailed requirements. It can be obtained from the Contracts Division at the Rif Dimashq Health Directorate during official working hours, for a fee of 1,000 Syrian pounds.

Offers are submitted to the directorate's registry office by the end of official working hours on Tuesday, 3 November 2026.
