Aga Khan Foundation (Syria) is requesting price offers to supply and install a solar power system with accessories at two sites in the city of Salamiyah, Hama Governorate: the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and the Real Estate Bank building.

Scope of the Tender

The notice was issued as announcement No. (126), classed as an internal announcement, under reference AKF/126/26. It is addressed to economic operators licensed to work in the Syrian Arab Republic.

Offers are to be prepared according to the tender's specific bidding documents, which can be obtained through the link the Foundation published in its notice.

Site Visit and Inquiries

A site visit is a basic condition for submitting an offer, and bidders register for it by filling in their contact details through a form designated by the Foundation. The dates for this stage are:

• Deadline to submit site visit contact details: Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 4:00 pm.
• Deadline to receive technical inquiries: end of day Monday 2 November 2026.
• Answers are issued as soon as possible and exclusively through the responses folder designated by the Foundation, which it advises bidders to check regularly.

Deadline and Bid Opening Session

The final deadline to receive tender files and financial offers is Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 2:00 pm, at the Aga Khan Foundation building in Salamiyah, Anas Bin Malik Street, behind the Sadcop fuel station.

Financial offers are opened in a public session in front of all bidders who submitted offers. A bidder may attend in person or send a representative, handing in files by hand in a sealed envelope, or attend online after uploading password-protected files and sending the password during the session. Under the notice, a financial offer sent without password protection is rejected.

Payment Terms and Notes

• Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer to a bank account that is not subject to international sanctions.
• The Foundation advises bidders to consult their chosen bank about withdrawal limits before submitting a price offer.
• The notice creates no obligation on the Foundation toward any bidder, and the Foundation may extend or cancel the announcement.
