The Syrian Grain Establishment (General Establishment for Grain Trade and Processing) has issued a second-round domestic request for offers, number 89132, for the maintenance and rehabilitation of a high silo with extensions at both ends, including civil works. The notice was published on 3 November 2026.

Scope of Works

The request covers maintenance and rehabilitation of a high silo, together with expansion at both of its ends and the related civil works. Works are to follow the conditions and specifications set out in these documents:

• Technical specifications book No. /691/S dated 6/10/2026.
• Special conditions book (financial and legal) No. /2085/26/8/3 dated 6/10/2026.

Obtaining Tender Documents

Both documents are available from the Contracts Department of the Establishment for a fee of SYP 1,000 (new Syrian pounds), payable in cash at the Establishment's cashier.

Bonds and Guarantees

• Initial bond: SYP 34,500,000 (new), submitted by transfer to the Establishment's account at the Central Bank of Syria. It is released only with the approval of the Establishment's General Management, and any offer submitted without it is rejected.
• Provisional guarantee fees: a receipt for SYP 575 (new), paid as a financial stamp for local administration rebuilding, must accompany the offer.
• Final bond: 10% of the total contract value.

Duration and Offer Validity

The execution period is 7 months, starting the day after the contractor is notified of the commencement order.

Bidders are bound by their offers for 60 days from the day after the submission deadline. The selected contractor remains bound for 60 days from the day after being notified of the award.

The deadline for submitting offers is 2:30 pm on Monday, 23/11/2026.
